Jennifer Lopez is leaving Sony Music Epic Records, and her 7th studio album, Love?, will not be released this April as planned.
The 40-year-old entertainer will still likely have a greatest hits album released this fall, according to Deadline.com.
J. Lo’s manager, Benny Medina, released a statement earlier today, saying, “Jennifer had a wonderful relationship with the Sony Music group, and they have shared many successes together, but the time was right to make a change that best serves the direction her career as an actress and recording artist. She is grateful and appreciative to everyone Sony for all that they accomplished together.”
Jennifer is still scheduled to host and perform as the musical guest on SNL next weekend.
